Public Hearing - Remove single-family residential landscaping requirements prior to certificate of occupancies

HEARING TIME AND LOCATION

Notice is hereby given that the Santaquin City Planning Commission will be holding a public

hearing at approximately 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The in-person meeting will be

viewable online. The meeting will be held in person at the Council Chambers 110 S. Center Street

THE PROPOSAL

To amend Santaquin City Code (SCC) 10.52.020, 10.32.030, to remove the requirement that all

single-family residential homes complete landscaping before a certificate of occupancy is granted to

match state code 10-9a-802

HEARING PURPOSE

The hearing is an open meeting in which residents will have the right and opportunity to voice

concerns or ask questions about the proposal. Feedback from residents may be used to help mitigate

possible impacts. This is the only public hearing which will be held on this request.
